This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs the cancellation, rescheduling, and refund of consultations, reports, digital products, and other services offered by Shiv’s Astrology, owned and operated by Shivram Krushnat Borgaonkar.
By booking a consultation or purchasing any product or service through this Website, you agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Consultation Fees
Consultation fees vary depending upon the type, scope, and duration of the consultation.
The applicable consultation fee shall be communicated before confirming your booking.
- Payment Confirmation
A consultation booking shall ordinarily be confirmed only after successful receipt of payment, unless otherwise agreed by Shiv’s Astrology.
- Refund Policy for Consultations
All consultation bookings are generally non-refundable.
Since every consultation involves reservation of appointment time, horoscope study, preparation, and professional time, consultation fees shall ordinarily not be refunded once a consultation has been booked or conducted.
Refunds shall be granted only in the circumstances specifically mentioned in this Policy or where required by applicable law.
- Partial Refunds
Unless expressly stated in this Policy, partial refunds shall not ordinarily be granted for:
partially attended consultations;
consultations voluntarily discontinued by the Client;
consultations interrupted due to the Client’s actions or unavailability; or
situations where only some of the Client’s questions could be discussed due to reasons attributable to the Client.
Each consultation reserves professional time and preparation. Accordingly, the applicable consultation fee shall ordinarily remain payable.
- Cancellation by the Client
If you wish to cancel your consultation, please inform Shiv’s Astrology as early as possible.
Cancellation of a consultation does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
Any applicable rescheduling or refund shall be governed by this Policy.
- Rescheduling Policy
If you are unable to attend your scheduled consultation, you may request rescheduling by sending an email at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
Where such request is received within the required time, Shiv’s Astrology may, at its discretion and subject to availability, offer a rescheduled appointment.
If the rescheduling request is received less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment, a 25% rescheduling charge may apply.
Rescheduling requests remain subject to availability and acceptance by Shiv’s Astrology.
- Missed Appointments
If you fail to attend your scheduled consultation without prior notice, or if you remain unavailable at the scheduled appointment time, the consultation may be treated as completed.
In such cases:
no refund shall ordinarily be provided; and
rescheduling shall be entirely at the discretion of Shiv’s Astrology.
No Show After Grace Period
If the Client does not join or remain available within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment time, Shiv’s Astrology may treat the consultation as a “No Show.” In such cases, the consultation may be considered completed, and no refund shall ordinarily be payable. Any rescheduling shall remain solely at the discretion of Shiv’s Astrology.
- Cancellation by Shiv’s Astrology
If a consultation has to be cancelled by Shiv’s Astrology due to unavoidable circumstances, you will normally be offered a suitable rescheduled appointment.
However, if:
rescheduling is not possible; or
Shiv’s Astrology decides not to proceed with the consultation for any reason,
the consultation fee paid by you shall be refunded in full.
- Refunds for Digital Products
Digital products, including e-books and downloadable content, are generally delivered immediately after successful payment.
Accordingly, all purchases of digital products are final and non-refundable, except:
where the product cannot be delivered due to our technical error;
duplicate payment made by mistake;
or where required under applicable law.
- Duplicate Payments
If you accidentally make duplicate payments for the same consultation or product, please contact us with proof of payment.
After verification, the excess amount received may be refunded or adjusted against another service, at the discretion of Shiv’s Astrology.
- Incorrect Payment Amount
If an incorrect payment amount is received due to a technical error or payment mistake, Shiv’s Astrology reserves the right to:
adjust the payment;
request payment of the balance amount;
cancel the booking; or
refund the excess amount, as appropriate.
- Incorrect Birth Details
The Client is responsible for providing accurate birth details.
Refunds shall not be provided merely because:
incorrect birth details were submitted;
approximate birth time was provided;
the Client later realised that the information supplied was inaccurate.
If revised birth details require a fresh horoscope analysis, additional charges may apply.
- Dissatisfaction with Consultation
Astrology is interpretative in nature.
Accordingly, refunds shall not be granted merely because:
the Client disagrees with the astrological interpretation;
the Client expected a different opinion;
predictions do not match the Client’s expectations;
recommended remedies were different from what the Client anticipated;
the Client changed their mind after the consultation.
- Payment Gateway Issues
Where payment has been successfully deducted but the booking is not confirmed due to a payment gateway or technical issue, Shiv’s Astrology will make reasonable efforts to verify the transaction.
Upon verification, the booking may be confirmed, the amount adjusted, or the payment refunded, as appropriate.
- Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, it shall ordinarily be processed through the original payment method or any other appropriate method determined by Shiv’s Astrology.
The time required for the refund to reflect in your account may depend upon your bank, payment gateway, or payment service provider.
- CHARGEBACKS
Clients are requested to contact Shiv’s Astrology before initiating any chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal request with their bank, card issuer, payment gateway, or payment service provider.
Where a consultation has already been provided, a report has been delivered, or a digital product has been successfully supplied, Shiv’s Astrology reserves the right to contest any unwarranted or fraudulent chargeback and to recover applicable costs or losses in accordance with applicable law.
- Changes to this Policy
Shiv’s Astrology reserves the right to modify, revise, or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice.
The latest version published on this Website shall apply to future bookings and purchases unless otherwise stated.
